the Haram, therefore pilgrims of Hajj and ʿUmrah can
put on Ihram. This
mosque is also known as Masjid Aishah since Aisha bint Abu Bakr, wife of
the Islamic Prophet Muhammad,
had put on her Ihram from this place once.
